Ramleela

A prelude to this extravaganza

  • This Digital Drama, "RAMLEELA" is an adaptation of Ramayana, the greatest Indian epic. In this two and a half hour live performance about 32 carefully selected important events are enacted in such an interesting way that even today's generation gets mesmerized.

  • What makes this so unique?
  • Digital Drama is a relatively new concept with which has kept the audiences enthralled since 1999.
  • Previously Light & Sound shows which were mostly historical could only be staged at locations, like old forts or palaces.
    • As it is almost impossible to find such locations in most of the cities, therefore the general public did not get the privilege to watch such productions.
    • Not only has this hurdle been overcome, but have also incorporated another powerful media in our productions.
    • Digital video projection with Sound & Light and Drama has been juxtaposed to substitute the locations like forts, palaces, etc.
    • With this experiment, a new dimension has been added in performing arts.

      • On the film the scenes are shot at the original locations with full cast to create the atmosphere, then maintaining the continuity of the scene the same artist i.e. same character enacts the remaining part of scene on stage which gives the theatrical touch to it.

    • This media travelling of artists i.e. from film to stage and vice-versa is a spectacle by itself for the audience.

    • Technically this show is far ahead than other stage shows. In this Digital Drama production Video, drama, sound, lights, etc, are synchronized in studios beforehand.

ALL THIS AND MORE MAKES THIS A TREAT TO WATCH
