Unlimited Ability dazzles South Asians!

Unlimited Ability, a spectacular event and an extraordinary show dazzled audiences in California and Arizona. For the 1st time in North America, all the way from India, artists with disabilities performed the most fantastic acts.

It was a brilliant production, performed on wheels, crutches and other aids. Vibrant costumes, beautiful artists and extravagant performances enthralled audiences. The shows were a sensational mix of the greatest epics on wheels, dynamic & ancient sword fights, classical dances & dramas, subliminal, soulful music, traditional exotic costumes, and terrific acting – all performed by actors with severe disabilities. Unlimited Ability showcased the exceptional talents of special needs people from India. The troupe gave unique dance & martial arts performances, choreographed by the internationally acclaimed Guruji Sallauddin.

Promoted in North America by Georgy Bhaala and Catch the Rhythms, Inc. Unlimited Ability was a not-for-profit venture by the Group. It was a historical first! Dance theatre performances, enactment of the Great Epics, sword fights and a medley of scintillating acts performed by professional disabled artists on crutches and wheel chairs - the first of its kind in the history of dance theatre. Guru Salauddin Pasha is the creator and founder of “Ability Unlimited.” Founded in 1999, Ability Unlimited is India's first and only professional dance theatre group dedicated to persons with multiple disabilities. It was formed by disabled rights activist, trained actor, Kathak and Bharatnatyam dancer Guru Syed Salauddin Pasha. He is a dynamic force and a pioneer in creating these fantastically unique dance-theatre productions for people with disabilities.

Pasha is an international scholar from Cornell University (USA), Sutra Dance Theatre (Malaysia) and Dance Theatre Raatikko (Finland). His productions have been performed by thousands of disabled artists across the globe. These productions were assisted by Rani Khanam, India's highly respected Kathak dancer and choreographer. Rani has worked with Pasha in major dance theatre productions. She is among the very few lucky dancers to have learned Kathak from the legendary Birju Maharaj himself. Rani Khanam's India's Sufi dance ensemble has given new dimensions to SUFI.

Artists included Gulshan Kumar, Manoj, Hemlata and Naresh. They are such gifted and charismatic actors that you simply don’t notice their disabilities. They were all fantastic on stage at each of the venues. Brilliant talent, a terrific script and a truly wondrous experience – Unlimited Ability is one of the most entertaining and inspirational shows of our times.
