South Asians revel in Sufiana Sammah with Hans Raj Hans

Hans Raj Hans, the talented and renowned Punjabi folk and pop singer has completed a very successful North American tour of Sufi music. The concert series aptly titled ‘Sufiana Sammah’ resonated with the melodies Sufi music. Hans Raj Hans’ renditions held audiences spell bound across the country.

Accompanied by his two very gifted sons, Yuv Raj Hans and Nav Raj Hans, the trio sang brilliantly. Concerts were held in Boston, Connecticut, Edison (New Jersey), Raleigh (North Carolina), Pittsburg, Maryland and Chicago. The performances were houseful and the audiences were in raptures. Hans Raj Hans’ rich voice and extensive range hypnotized Sufi music lovers, and they gave them a standing ovation. This is the 2nd year that Hans Raj Hans has performed Sufi music in the United States and his fan base continues to expand.

Hans Raj Hans is a name synonymous with Punjabi folklore and Sufi songs. He is a folk singer with a style of his own. A pupil of the traditional Punjabi Sufiana music, Hans excels in Sufiana gayaki and folk based Bhangra melodies. With many pop hits and film songs to his credit, Hans Raj Hans was hauntingly divine in the Sufiana Sammah 2007 concert tour. The North American tour promoted by Catch the Rhythms and Georgy Bhaala was very well received and greatly successful.

With an impressive list of sponsors such as Simple2Call, TV Asia, Indian Express, Eastern Air Courier, Sahara One, Asian Foods and Chamunda Swami. Sufiana Sammah received a thunderous response. Filled with poetry, peace and acceptance, Sufism is a great philosophy, and people reveled in the music and melodies of Hans Raj Hans.

Hans Raj Hans and his sons were very successful in bringing to the people the wonderful world of Sufi music – passionate and soulful.
