Torontonians flock to see Anup Jalota in concert!

Snow, freezing temperatures and bad weather did not faze Toronto people as they filled the Red Rose Convention Center near Toronto on Sunday, January 21 to see the Bhajan and Ghazal Samrat Anup Jalota perform. Anup Jalota sang some of his best music; a combination of bhajans and ghazals and had the audience in raptures.

The event presented by Ali Khan of State Farm Insurance was a sold out show. Over 1100 people packed the auditorium. The guests included the honorable Consulate-General of India Toronto Satish C. Mehta, many top industrialists, and a huge media presence. Ali Khan was thrilled with the response and simply said “It was a superb performance.” Ajay Modi, the local promoter, enthused “Anup Jalota was sensational.”

Anup Jalota’s bhajans at ISKCON, New Jersey creates a celestial gateway!

Anup Jalota wowed audiences and devotees with his divine singing at the Bhajan Sandhya organized by ISKCON of Central New Jersey. This musical event, held in Edison, New Jersey on Saturday, January 20 was dedicated to singing the glory of Lord Krishna. Organized by the dedicated volunteers of ISKCON as a fundraiser for the Krishna temple being built in Old Bridge, New Jersey, this event was attended by many fans of Anup Jalota and music lovers. The audience included the honorable Mayor of Edison Jun H. Choi.

Anup Jalota sang brilliantly that evening to a house full auditorium. Mellifluous singing, a phenomenal stage presence, charming and entertaining, his bhajans were poignant and soulful. Anup Jalota who trained under the tutelage of his famous father, classical music exponent Purshottam Das Jalota has bhajans like “Aisi Lagi Lagan Meera Ho Gayi …and Maiya Mori” to his credit. These exquisite dedications have enchanted devotees and won him millions of fans internationally.
