The first ever NRI Antakshari Live with Annu Kapoor held at the Hindu Temple & Community Center in Sunnyvale, California was a resounding success! A vibrant and electric audience of over 3500 attended this fun filled and pulsating event on Sunday, October 30. Adapted from the popular Indian game, Antakshari that has been played for decades, NRI Antakshari Live is an excellent, interactive event that involves participants and audiences. Annu Kapoor, the phenomenally talented host and actor mesmerized audiences yesterday in Sunnyvale and the show went on for 4 hours non-stop! Participants and the audience were talented, enthusiastic and receptive and helped in making this first show a huge success. Annu Kapoor said he was thrilled to be in Sunnyvale for this occasion and enthused, "A phenomenal audience, great participants made this show wonderful - I am so happy to be here. Annu Kapoor mesmerizes Richmond with NRI Antakshari Live
Richmond audiences danced and sang the evening away at NRI Antakshari Live with Annu Kapoor held at the Cultural Center of India in Chester, Virginia on Sunday, November 6. Packed auditorium, an enthusiastic and lively audience, talented participants made this wonderful 3-hour event a truly memorable one. Annu Kapoor, was at his best! With a terrific repertoire of songs, his charming and witty banter and a phenomenal knowledge of music, the audiences were spellbound with his explanation of "AUM." This added a whole new dimension to the show and made it not only entertaining, but also informative and spiritual. Annu Kapoor said he was very happy to perform and entertain the audiences and said "I loved every minute of it this evening Ð the audience and participants have been spectacular." New Yorkers sing away at the NRI Antakshari Live Auditions!
Spirited New Yorkers flocked to the NRI Antakshari Live with Annu Kapoor auditions. Held on Wednesday, November 23 in Hicksville, participants sang and competed to win a coveted spot on the teams for the Main Event. With a talented group of 54 hopefuls and a professional audition team from Mumbai to see their talent, there was energy, excitement and exuberance in the air. Annu Kapoor himself made an appearance and the crowds were ecstatic.

Electrifying evening, huge turnout in Toronto with NRI Antakshari Live with Annu Kapoor
It was the perfect finale to one of the most successful events of 2005! NRI Antakshari Live in Toronto was a tremendous success. The evening was abuzz with anticipation, excitement and a fierce sense of competition. Huge enthusiastic crowds turned up to watch one of the best shows of the year. The event held at the John A McDonald Collegiate Institute in Scarborough on Sunday, December 4 was houseful and delivered great music, fun, and a stellar performance by one of India's best hosts - Annu Kapoor.
Annu sang, performed, charmed the participants and audiences and mesmerized everyone with his wit, talent and knowledge of Indian music and history. The participants demonstrated a keen sense of music and singing ability. And the audiences loved every minute of it.
