Press Release - Anti-Aging and Beauty with Eastern Wisdom at the “Masters of Healing” Seminar Series
Presented by the spiritual and holistic lifestyle magazine Tathaastu: So Be It, at the International Anti-Aging Show in Toronto, Canada, the “Masters of Healing” seminar series brought the wisdom, knowledge and thousands-year-old practices of Yoga and Ayurveda to the forefront. The event was held April 3-5 at the International Centre.
These are stressful times for most of us. There are financial and economic concerns, we lead hectic lives, people are constantly multitasking, and the environment does not help either. With pollution due to over-development and a general lack of concern for nature, it takes a toll on our bodies. All these factors contribute to early aging and fatigue.
Pursuing a natural, holistic and spiritual lifestyle can go a long way in staying youthful, and feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. Rather than using extreme measures for staying and looking young, there are natural, gentler and healthier ways to get the same results. Renowned experts in the fields of spirituality and healing, Yoga and Ayurveda discussed and advised the participants on the benefits of anti-aging, staying healthy and discovering the fountain of youth. The response to the series was overwhelming, with hundreds attending each session.
Sri Chamunda Swami, the renowned astrologer and healer, conducted healing sessions, advised participants and offered guidance. His philosophy is simple and profound, “I help you believe in yourself.”
Pratichi Mathur, well-known Ayurveda healer, scholar and author conducted sessions on Ayurveda and the healing powers of following a healthy diet and natural remedies. The audience in Toronto was exposed to new dimensions in healing and the possibilities of embracing well-being and wholeness through methods and techniques taught by the wise masters of India. She felt that the audience was very receptive to imbibing the wisdom of the East, and Tathaastu’s presence at the show and hosting the series was a great idea for sharing ancient wisdom and knowledge. Pratichi Mathur said, “It was deeply satisfying to connect to Toronto.”
Dr. Indu Arora, well-known yoga therapist and author, enumerated the many benefits of yoga and demonstrated yoga mudras, eye and neck exercises for vitality and rejuvenation.
The anti-aging benefits of yoga include: minimizing wrinkles, stress reduction, rejuvenate skin’s glow by reducing oxidative stress, ease of back pain, helps keep the memory sharp, and emotional strength and well-being. Dr. Arora said, “The response to the sessions was fantastic. It was a great show and the audience was very receptive.”
The packed event also had booths of Sri Chamunda Swami, Tathaastu: So Be It, My BB TV (a unit of TV ASIA) and Tathaastu’s media supporter, Toronto Sun, the leading newspaper of Toronto. Tathaastu had also created a special “healing room” for participants and attendees to unwind and experience wellness. |
