Shri Chamunda Swami is the renowned New York-based spiritual healer to thousands, in the U.S., Canada and India. His advice and guidance has transformed the lives of many across the world, through personal consultations, public events, writings, and television shows. He is a strong believer in the cultivation of purity of thought, mind, and harnessing positive energy from the negative forces around us.

Shri Anup Jalota needs no introduction. He has been entertaining us for decades with his divine voice. Popularly known as the ÒBhajan Samrat,Ó Anup Jalota has enchanted audiences over the years with his soulful renditions.

‘Be the change you want to see in the world’ - this is a famous and often used quote by Mahatma Gandhi . He believed that we must be the change we want to see in the world. This was well demonstrated when he helped India gain its independence. And we do find a lot of people who are doing their two bits to make that difference.......Each one of us may know a handful of people who have taken the initiative – we at Tathaastu strongly subscribe to this view - hence we have taken it upon us to recognize small gestures, actions that often go unnoticed - yet make a big impact on mankind.
At every event that we host in the country we would like to give away awards to lesser known, but big hearted people in the country who have selflessly gone beyond their call of duty and helped others in some way or the other.
This comes as a gentle initiative and not a norm – our idea is to suggest....not to impose – hence we decided to come forward and take the initiative in this recognition of giving the prestigious Tathaastu Awards for those who see themselves as ordinary people but are actually Extraordinary for the World, Tathaastu Presents – BE THE CHANGE Awards.

These will be awarded to people in the community for their phenomenal achievements and devotion to public causes, these awards highlight the core fundamentals of “selfless giving” to society and its people.
The program will highlight two-three ordinary people within the community who have made extraordinary contributions to society.
